To sell one's own body

To prostitute oneself is a contentious topic of debate in our society and associated with many moral questions. It is not surprising, therefore, that this subject matter has also captured the imagination of many filmmakers. In our globalized world full of social injustice, the body in film becomes an object of exchange – be it as a piece of meat that can be traded for a visa, or, on the contrary, as an artfully crafted sculpture on social media that can be used to attract fans and followers. But it can, of course, also become in itself an act of rebellion or a symbol for a life of pleasure.
